Overview:

Pearl Street is an important east-west corridor leading in and out of Burlington. These new apartments will add housing close to downtown, specifically compact studio, one and two bedroom apartments that are in high demand and continue to be desirable in neighborhoods close to downtown. Air conditioning, on site laundry, storage space and an attractive roof deck are just a few amenities that are in high demand.
The location on the north edge of downtown provides easing walking or biking access to Church Street Marketplace, the Burlington Waterfront, the University of Vermont and the UVM Medical Center (formally Fletcher Allen). Check us out at; www.247Pearlvt.com.

The HISTORY OF 247 PEARL
The original building located at 247 Pearl Street was built circa 1820 by Benjamin Bailey to use as both a home and office for his law practice. It remained in the Bailey family as a residence until 1866. Soon after, the house was renovated into apartments and changed ownership several times. In September of 2011 fire completely destroyed the original building, displacing several dental offices. At the time, the structure had been one of the oldest in the City of Burlington.
