Redstone, a full sercive real estate company seeks an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the monthly close, preparing and/or reviewing financial statements and cash flows, handling account reconciliations, payroll and human resource management, tax analysis, leading the annual audit process, and researching accounting issues.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 2-5 years' experience. Additional skills must include a solid background in managing multiple companies with complex intercompany relationships, being highly energetic, honest, hardworking, organized and able to multi task. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for efficiencies and recommend changes. Experience in taxation and in the real estate, development and property management industry is preferred.
Candidates must be computer savvy and fluent in MS Excel in order to research and extract accounting data to resolve accounting inquiries and issues as they arise. Exposure to Yardi Voyager is a plus. For confidential consideration, please submit resume to Paula Ellis at email@example.com.
