8/1/2014- We currently have an opening for a Staff Accountant.
This position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the monthly close, preparing and/or reviewing financial statements and cash flows, handling account reconciliations, payroll and human resource management, tax analysis, leading the annual audit process and researching accounting issues.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 to 7 year's experience. Additional skills must include a solid background in managing multiple companies with complex intercompany relationships, being highly energetic, honest, hardworking, organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced working environment. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for efficiencies and recommend changes. Experience in taxation and in the real estate, development and property management industry is preferred.
Candidates must be computer savvy and fluent in MS Excel in order to research and extract acccounting data to resolve accounting inquiries and issues as they arise. 8/1/2014 We currently are seeking a Maintenance Technician
This position is for an experienced, hands-on maintenance technician to join our property management team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance, preferably in a commercial setting. He or she must have the ability to work independently yet be able to supervise maintenance crews and to plan and manage projects. Must possess a working knowledge of plumbing, electric, construction and HVAC systems and overall building management (both in-unit and common areas).
Other qualifications required: strong attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with owners, tenants, management and other team members; available for after-hours emergencies, on a rotation basis; the ability to: lift up to 75 pounds; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; and work with minimal supervision.
